The Urban Pear was very urbane

Fine art, fine food, fine wine, and fine service were all available at the Urban Pear on Saturday evening in Ottawa. I was lucky enough to be wined and dined at this urban chic restaurant located in the Glebe and would recommend it to anyone looking for a special treat. There were lots of layers of texture and flavours in their finely crafted menu, that incorporated high-quality locally-sourced ingredients. According to the information posted on its website, "during the summer months, a team of dedicated organic farmers supply The Urban Pear with all of its vegetables. All the meats & fish purchased by the chefs come from Canadian farms & waters. In keeping with its local theme The Urban Pear’s wine list features a very strong Canadian wine content...." Here's a link to the website http://www.theurbanpear.com/ and here's to the Urban Pear's Canadian content. Go Canada!
