
This is what I call tuna on toast topped with melted cheese. It tastes great and that's all there is to it.
Ingredients:
- 1 tin of tuna
- a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise
- salt and pepper to taste
- about a tablespoon of finely chopped onion or cucumber relish
- 3 slices of bread
- slices of your favourite slice-able cheese (I used old cheddar)
Place your oven setting on 'broil'. Ensure that an oven rack is situated within several inches of the broiler. Toast 3 slices of bread and place them on a baking sheet. Mix the tuna with the mayonnaise, onion/relish, salt and pepper. Divide the tuna mixture evenly between the 3 slices of toast and top the tuna with cheese. Pop these babies under the broiler until the cheese is melted.
