Easy Appetizer-Sweet and Sour Salami

This recipe, from sisters Julie Albert and Lisa Gnat (Bite Me, was made by my sister-in-law J. for her weekend dinner party. She suggests that 1/2 inch pieces would be better than the recipe's recommended 1-inch cubes of meat, which she found to be too large.

Ingredients:
- 7 cups of kosher beef salami cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 and 1/2 cups of Heinz chili sauce (or homemade)
- 1 cup apricot jam
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Place the cubes of salami in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, whisk all of the other ingredients together then pour them over the meat. Bake uncovered for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes, until the sauce has thickened. Serve with toothpicks. This recipe serves 8-10 people but could easily be halved if you have a smaller group.
