To add to the holiday cheese tray: chocolate-covered fruit

These chocolate-covered fruits are incredibly simple to make and are a nice addition to a dessert cheese tray.

Ingredients:
- an assortment of your favourite dried fruit and/or candied ginger
- half a bag of chocolate chips (melted)

Melt the chocolate chips and dip the ends of the dried fruit into the warm chocolate. After dipping, place them on a piece of waxed paper until the chocolate hardens. Store in an airtight container.

(I used dried apricots, dried pears and candied ginger).

Jessie and I went to a very high end shopping mall, "The Gardens", last night - the Betsy Johnson store was the best...oh and the Godiva chocolate store, where the owner had just finished dipping fruit and making peanut butter cups. I bought a milk chocolate covered candied apricot which I just now enjoyed for breakfast! I also signed up for their customer appreciation program. Spend $10 every month and get a free chocolate.
